On weekends you can find him tinkering with his Arduino micro or making home-made cheese with his friends.

Derek is passionate about projects and about people. As a rusty tech, he likes to get under the hood probably more than what he should do, and is well known to ask too many questions.

Derek has worked as a CIO and strategic ICT consultant for many years, and on weekends you can find him spearing fish, riding a bike or cooking up a storm.

Branden is our hard core techie. There is nothing too arduous or complicated for this man. His skills and experience span many diverse technologies and genres from software languages to platforms and hardware. He is a coder at heart with crazy passion for anything tech, and has the staying power of a Duracell battery.
On weekends you can find him riding his dirt bike at breakneck speeds or probably working.

Gustav is our "uber geek" all-rounder. You can find him tinkering with open-source hardware and software on any given day. He is a committed and passionate individual, with the rare combination of strong left and right grey matter. Gustav is our artisitic techie with an eye for detail. He loves coding for mobile platforms and E-commerce. On weekend, you can find him messing around with open source hardware and electronics or travelling the beautiful contryside.

Ernest has been part of the TCOE furniture since dayy 1, and he is the big daddy to our test team. He is also "Mr. Process" and his forte is documenting procedures and processes. He has worked in London for 10 yeards in the Financial Sector before returning to our soil. He enjoys cycling, squash and gym, and you can find him having a lekker braai on the beach with friends and family in his spare time.

Anita enjoys a challenge. So far she has been able to put her analytical skills, from her previous role to good use. She has learned volumes, and finds the telecoms industry exceptionally interesting. After living and working in the UK for the past 12 years, she and her family returned to sunny South Africa. Whilst living in the UK, she worked for a private family company called Grosvenor, which is owned by the Duke of Westminster as a Systems Support Analyst. During her 4 years at Grosvenor she had 2 children, who are nearly 4 and 2. She loves living in a vibrant city and enjoy exploring all the wonders Cape Town has to offer.

Reinhardt started working as a test analyst for OTA, based in Vodacom Techno Centre, Belville testing all the NMG SS applications and events / alarms being implemented into the Vodacom environment. He has been invited to ast in the role of Change Coordinator for the new Change and Release process being implemented at Vodacom.

He loves outdoor activities, cycling, fishing (freshwater & saltwater), camping, hiking in the mountains, swimming and trail running. He enjoys building scale World War II models and carpentry projects when he's at home. His latest interest is photographing sunrises and sunsets.

Rudi's background includes the programming of PABX systems, computer build/repairs and OS installations, network installations and configuration. He has a passion for problem solving and always enjoys a challenge. Rudi has the responsibilty for building our QA environments using VMWware/Unix/SPARC as well as Project testing and documentation. His hobbies include golf, tennis, ricket and outdoor activities. He enjoys each and every day at work, as the current team works well together and there is always a helping hand.

Afroz joined OTA as ISTQB / ISEB Certified Senior Test Analyst with 6 years of experience in testing applications on Banking, Finance and Telecom domain. Good understanding and experience with different software methodologies, proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent understanding of the organizations goals and objectives, Open, Flexible and willing to learn new technologies.

Afroz enjoys going to the beach and having braais with friends and family.

Srini joined the TCoE as Senior Test Analyst with around 6 years of progressive experience in all phases of the Software Test Life Cycle. He is involved in the Development of Test Strategys, Test Planning, Test Analysis & Design, Test Executions, Defect Reporting and Bug Life Cycle. he is fascinated by all aspects of testing processes and feels most comfortable in a test role and breaking the systems.
